Attractions
A bit further outside of KL, but the colourful steps are iconic! Don’t bring plastic bags, the monkeys here are aggressive and they’ve learned to steal those from you

Famous place for Malaysia’s national dish, nasi lemak!
Located in the basement of a mall with lots of options! Really enjoyed the ice kacang (pictured, try it with durian or soursop) and beef horfun here
Syrian cuisine, the smoked hummus with fresh bread and kebab khashkhash were incredible.
Amazing Indian food, cheese + garlic naan with various biryanis and curries
I never went here, but my family LOVES this Thai restaurant - especially the crab laksa. Not cheap by Malaysian standards, but supposedly very worth it
